Summer events in downtown Logan begin this week

A lot of activities will be going on in downtown Logan during the summer months. Logan Downtown Manager Gary Saxton says the noontime concerts at the Logan Tabernacle began on Monday and will continue each Monday through Friday from now until August 12th.

Saxton says a special event is coming up on Saturday, June 4, and that is the <a href=”https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-92ekel2N0oM/Vye40SRl6xI/AAAAAAAACDs/5ydnrabARXccFb8ILZXzSfTZWF5phv-JwCLcB/s640/2016%2BLogan%2BTrails%2BFestival%2BBike%2BRodeo.jpg” target=”_blank”>Logan Trails Festival</a>.

“It’s National Trails Day. We have some fun community activities,” Saxton explains, “as well as some trail runs, a bike rodeo and family bike ride, as well as a barbecue at Merlin Olsen Park. That is Saturday, June 4th.”

Saxton says the Cache Valley Storytelling Festival will be held at the same place, at Merlin Olsen Central Park, the following weekend June 9-11.
