Snowfall to make driving difficult on many Utah highways

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Authorities say snowfall late Saturday and early Sunday will cause difficult driving conditions on many Utah highways, including parts of several interstates.

The National Weather Service says roadways expected to be affected include I-15 from the Idaho border to Cedar City, I-70 from I-15 to Ivie Creek and I-80 from Lake Point into Wyoming.

According to a <a target=”&mdash;blank” href=”http://forecast.weather.gov/wwamap/wwatxtget.php?cwa=slc&amp;wwa=winter%20weather%20advisory”>winter weather advisory</a> , “snow will quickly cover all roads” in an area extending from the Idaho line in the north to nearly as far south as Zion National Park.
