LOGAN — A semi-truck rollover early Wednesday morning blocked traffic for most of the day along a part of Valley View Highway, SR-30.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cade Brenchley said Craig W. Smith was driving the semi eastbound. Near 3200 W, he fell asleep and drifted off the side of the road. He then overcorrected, causing one of the trailers he was pulling to overturn.
The semi-truck was carrying two trailer loads of dry cement powder.
The accident caused the pup trailer to overturn, spilling its load.
Smith was uninjured and may be cited, pending an investigation.
The road was blocked until late Wednesday afternoon as troopers removed the semi-truck and cleared the road.
