Turkey Shoot to benefit Paradise Fire and Rescue

It’s an annual event in Paradise right after Thanksgiving Day and the 19th annual Turkey Shoot will be held Saturday morning at 9a.m. at the Paradise Gravel Pit (9000 S 600 E). There will be a drawing for a Beretta 3901 12 gauge shotgun, in MAX 4 camo and other prizes. Cost is $2 per chance and you can get tickets from any Paradise firefighter or get them at the shoot. Drawing at 4, need not be present to win. (Again this year: a new shotgun will be given away to a youth shooter 17 & under. Must shoot a minimum of one round of trap to be eligible. Adult supervision required for shooters under 15 years of age.) All money raised will go to Paradise Fire & Rescue for equipment needs and training. For more info: (Blake 435-764-9046 or 245-5835).
