The Hit From the Heart Golf tournament held on Saturday, June 27th was a success thanks to the 17 teams who competed in it. This is one of the top producing fundraisers for the Franklin County Healthcare Foundation. Since 2003, the Foundation has granted over $70,000 to organizations throughout Franklin County who share in their mission and vision to improve healthcare. These organizations include, but are not limited to, Franklin County Medical Center Nursing Home, Franklin County Medical Center, and the Preston, Thatcher and West Side School Districts.

In the Thatcher Elementary, the Foundation provided Physical Education equipment and also safety equipment to the Preston High School.
