Southbound traffic on a part of I-15 was closed for several hours Sunday night after a semi-truck rolled over, northwest of Brigham City.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers report the semi was traveling south when the empty trailer it was carrying blew over, blocking both lanes.
The driver was extricated from the truck and taken to a Brigham City hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
UHP report the accident occurred around 7:00 p.m. The road remained closed until 9:15 p.m. Traffic was backed up approximately four miles before being diverted.
Troopers said high winds were being reported at the time and may have been the cause of the accident.
