UC Davis beats Utah State in overtime 77-70

DAVIS, Calif. — Tyler Les hit a long 3-pointer to tie the game in regulation and UC Davis went on to beat Utah State 77-70 in overtime Wednesday night.

After falling behind by nine points in the second half, Utah State took a 62-61 lead on JoJo McGlaston’s layup at 62-61 with 58 seconds left. Jalen Moore tipped in a shot to make it a three-point lead with 5 seconds left before Les’ dramatic 3-pointer at the buzzer.

UC Davis (4-0) scored the first nine points of overtime and took the victory.

Josh Fox scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds, both career highs, off the bench for UC Davis. Josh Ritchart added 14 points, J.T. Adenrele 12 and Corey Hawkins 10.

Utah State (3-2) was led by Moore’s 17 points. Darius Perkins and Chris Smith added 13 each and McGlaston finished with 11.
