Ex-county inspector jailed for hidden cameras

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (AP) — A former Box Elder County employee has been sentenced to 120 days in jail after police say the 56-year-old videotaped women undressing to use a tanning bed in his home.Former county building and fire inspector Andre Pommier was sentenced last week for dealing in material harmful to a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor, several counts of voyeurism and one count of theft.The Standard-Examiner reports charges were filed in April after a family member found the images on Pommier’s computer.Brigham City police say Pommier secretly recorded women and girls as they undressed in his basement.Pommier worked for Box Elder County from 1990 to March 2011.
