Ogden — The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) advises motorists in the Logan area of four closures on 1000 West (state Road 252) which will impact traffic during the coming week. Three closures to be put in place, with the first beginning on July 28, will affect traffic patterns on the west and southwest side of Logan. Those closures will include: - The intersection of 600 South at 1000 West (SR-252), which will be closed for concrete work beginning July 28 until August 4. - 1100 West will be closed north of 1800 South on July 29 and 30, for pavement work. Local residents should use Emme Way as an alternate route.- Work on the Logan River Bridge is underway, and has necessitated that 1000 West (SR-252) is closed at the bridge nightly, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m, from the bridge south to US 89/91. However, this route is open to traffic during the day. During the nightly closures, traffic should use Main Street (US-89/91) as a detour around this closure. – The intersection at 200 South and 1000 West (SR-252) will be closed tomorrow, July 28, at 1 p.m. This will be for sewer line tie-ins. Use 600 South as an alternate route. All of these closures are being undertaken to facilitate paving work moving forward on the Tenth West Reconstruction Project. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, particularly if travel is time sensitive.
