Numerous forest service roads, recreation sites still closed due to snow, mud

One week before the 4th of July holiday there are still numerous forest roads and recreation sites closed in the Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.Both the 2nd Dam picnic area and the Gus Lind day use area are closed due to flooding. Roads and trails closed due to wet and muddy conditions and flooding include: High Creek Road on the Cache County portion, Mahogany Road, Cowley Canyon Road, West Hodges Road, Temple Fork Sawmill Road, Spawn Creek Trailhead, Worm Fence ATV Trail, Smithfield Canyon Road, Millville Peak Road, Twin Creek Roads, Temple Fork Road, Dip Hllow-Long Hollow Road, Marie Springs Road, and Left Hand Fork 4 x 4 road. All higher elevation roads are still closed due to snow, wet and muddy conditions.
