Idaho Days underway in Franklin

It is time to celebrate Idaho Days in Franklin, Idaho and the annual festivities started Thursday at 11 a.m. with the opening of historic Relic Hall and close Saturday at 10:15 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks display. A co-ed softball tournament and lighting of 1860 on Little Mountain are part of the festivities and Friday is the popular Miss Idaho Days pageant. There are many events on Saturday, including a flagraising ceremony at 6:45 a.m. That will be followed by a fun run, scout breakfast in the park, Idaho Days parade at 10 a.m. and after that there is a spelling bee and the big tractor pull at Legacy Ranch. Hay wagon rides, a Hypnotist, and a dutch oven dinner will also be held at the city park in Franklin.
