<strong>Track and Field</strong>

Idaho 2A Track Champs are the West Side boys. Coach Tyson Moser’s team won their first ever state title. The whole team won it for the Pirates, but the individual state champs were: Collin Roberts 110 hurdles, Jordan Beutler 800 meters, Josh Hatch 3200 meters and Justin Daley in the 200. The West Side medley relay team also placed first at state, Beutler and Roberts join with Josh Ebanez and Dallas Turnbow. Malorie White of West Side won the girls Pole Vault at the State meet. West Side girls were 8th. Soda Springs girls placed 4th at State, won the medley relay and Soda’s Kasey Meyers won the boys 1600.

<strong>Lacrosse</strong>

After nine seasons as head coach of the Sky View Bobcats Lacrosse team, co-founder and current Head Coach Jonathan Atwood is stepping down.

<strong>Wrestling Camp</strong>

Date: June 7th-9 for all grades k-12 Where: Logan High School Wrestling Room (southeast corner of main building) When: Grades k-6, 9:00 a.m. to NOON and grades 7-12, NOON- 6:00 p.m. Registration starts half hour early on the first day of camp, Monday June 7th. Cost: Grades k-6, $30 and Grades 7-12 $45 (includes shirt and food) Clinician: Justin Morrill from UVU wrestling will be instructing. For questions call Bo Roundy (753-8333)

<strong>Archery</strong>

Seneca Francis of Smithfield, who shoots for Utah State University, and Lindsay Christensen of Preston, who shoots for Weber State University, were named to the Intercollegiate All–American Archery Team at the conclusion of the college national archery championships in College Station, Texas. Lindsay was also named as an Academic All–American. Lindsay also qualified for the World University Archery Championships to be held in China in September.

<strong>Golf</strong>

Logan River Golf Course has their equipment demo day on Tuesday May 25. It runs 2 to 7 pm. They hosted their Member-Guest Tournament Friday and Saturday.
