After one year, cancer center exceeding expectations

One year after the Logan Regional Hospital Cancer Center opened its doors the entire center is working toward obtaining Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Center status. Hospital Administrator Bob Cash says during its first year the center has exceeded initial projections, averaging at least 12 patients per day receiving radiation therapy.Cash says many cancer patients have been able to stay in Cache Valley for world-class radiation therapy treatment. The center also offers chemotherapy, the latest clinical trials and other cancer services.
